The video shows a rare Vulcain Chronograph of the late 60th . The movement is the Valjoux 236, one of the last chronograph movements with an expensive column wheel. It is based on the Valjoux 23. It has 17 Jewels, 21600 Ah with shockprotection. There are two subdials with permanent seconds at 9 oclock and a 30 minutes chrono counter at 3 oclock. Operation manual: Crown at 3 oclock in position 0 = winding of movement spring Crown at 3 oclock in position 1 = setting of the time Pusher at 2 oclock = 1st starting of the chrono, 2nd stopping of the chrono and so on Pusher at 4 oclock = reset of the chrono to zero The case is goldplated with a screwback. The watchfirm Vulcain stopped production during the quartz crisis and was refound by a private investor (Bernhard Fleury) in Le Locle Switzerland some years ago. A new Vulcanographe is produced there and is expensive. Das Video zeigt einigen Vulcain Chronographen aus den 60er Jahren. Das Uhrwerk ist ein Valjoux 236, eines der letzten Chronographenwerke, welches noch über ein Säulenrad verfügte. Diese Werke waren in der Herstellung so teuer geworden, dass man ihre Produktion einstellte und das Großserienkaliber Valjoux 7733 entwickelte. Es hat 17 Steine, 21600 Ah mit Stoßsicherung. Zwei Hilfszifferblätter zeigen bei ) Uhr die permanten Sekunden und bei 3 Uhr den 30 Minuten Chrono. Die Bedienung: Krone bei 3 Uhr in Position „0 = Aufziehen der Uhr Krone bei 3 Uhr in Position „1 = Stellen der Uhrzeit Drücker bei 2 Uhr = 1. Starten des Chronos, 2. Stoppen des Chronos und so weiter Drücker bei 4 Uhr = Rückstellen des Chronos auf Null Gehäuse: Goldplattiert mit Edelstahlschraubboden. Die Firma Vulcain ging im Rahmen der Quarzkrise in Konkurs und wurde vor wenigen Jahren in Le Locle durch einen privaten Investor (Bernhard Fleury) wieder zum Leben erweckt. Ein Chronograph im oberen Preissegment (Vulcanographe) ist wieder im Programm.
